Follow the steps below:

If you follow the step-by-step instructions below you will be successful. Young or old and in between will find success with drawing a pair of rain boots in a puddle. With the chunked and easy to follow directions, the artist has room to decorate the boots in their own style.

First use your non-writing hand as a tracer to start to draw a pair of rain boots in a puddle. Place it on your paper so the finger tips point toward the side of the paper at the bottom. After your hand is positioned, then draw a curve around the finger-tips to make the toe of the boots. Then draw two vertical lines to develop the sides of the boot. Finally close the top of the boot off.

Puddles and Rain boots make Kids Happy!

Let’s draw the second boot.

Now how to draw a pair of rain boots in a puddle needs a second boot. Draw the second boot next to it. Start with a short straight horizontal line at the top of the side of the boot above the toes. Then draw a vertical straight line to mimic the front of the first boot. Before you know it you will have a pair of boots. They look likes socks before you draw the tread. Eventually we will draw the puddle that the boots will jump into.

Divide the boots

Next we divide the boots into sections. By dividing the boots you may draw designs, patterns, and texture lines. It makes the boots more exciting in your drawing. The images provided focused on the concept of texture.

Now you draw the tread.

How do you draw the tread? Draw the tread with straight lines going vertically and horizontally. Then it ends with a curve. It is the tread that transforms the sock shape into a boot.

Draw the puddle.

Use two horizontal straight lines on both sides of the middle of the boot to start the puddle. Next draw a wavy line on either side vertically. The wavy line gives the illusion of the puddle. Then pull the wavy line across horizontally to clise the puddle off.

Finish it off.

Lastly, how do we finish our drawing of a pair of rain boots in a puddle? You draw three straight vertical lines coming out of the boots for the indication of legs with leggings or fun socks. Then you draw background elements like rain drops. Referring to lines like letters helps younger artist make connection and leads to success. So refer to rain drops like letter “U” and letter “V”. Add designs and color and you have a fun work of art that captures the joy of puddles.
